Thanks to the Remik I’ve decided to purchase a U3 compatible 4GB SanDisk Cruzer Titanium Flash Drive. It looks very solid, is very fast (ca. 8MB write / 16MB read on large files) and the U3 platform makes it very flexible - I can take core tools like Total Commander or Putty (including all settings) with me. I hope that more software will be available for this platform as it is very powerful and potent.
